THE STORY:

Larimar is a very rare form of the mineral Pectolite found only in a remotely located part of the Dominican Republic.  It was named after the discoverer's daughter, Larissa, and the Spanish word for sea, Mar.  It is the only gemstone found in the Caribbean.  Sterling silver
