Inca Rose


In the 13th century the Incas abandon their silver mine in Argentina.  Drop by drop manganese, carbon and oxygen combined to form rhodochrosite stalagmites in the ancient shafts.  If the rose, cream and white bands form complete circles, the stone is known as a rare Inca Rose.
