Antique Brooch Necklace
I was looking around an antique shop with friends and found an old alabaster brooch. I liked the feel of it and decided to try to mold the brooch to make a pendant. The brooch molded well but most of the detail had been worn away with time and use. So I decided to carve the detail back into the metal clay impression. After firing, the piece was finished with liver of sulfur to create an antiqued look.
